The park’s diverse elevations (3,500–9,000 feet) create a prolonged season: mid-to-late October is the sweet spot for peak vibrancy in the main canyon, featuring golden cottonwoods, yellow-red maples, and rabbitbrush against red sandstone cliffs. Lower elevations may extend into early November.

Most essential locations
Zion Canyon and Riverside Walk

This location is also easily accessible via the park’s shuttle system.
Kolob Canyons

Kolob Terrace Road
