Itinerary
The adventure kicks off at 10:00 AM, when our friendly guides will meet you right at your hotel with big smiles and plenty of enthusiasm. We’ll then set off on a gorgeous four-hour drive through scenic landscapes, heading toward the charming North River Campground in North River, NY.
Once there, you can get cozy in your hotel for the night or wander around to explore your new surroundings. Your guide will share helpful tips and give you a sneak peek at the exciting days ahead!

Our morning starts with an invigorating hike! We’ll hit the trails near the lodge or the Hudson River, making our way up Moxham Mountain. It’s a rewarding climb to the 2,360-foot summit, where you’ll be treated to stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, lush forests, and serene ponds. We’ll find the perfect scenic spot along the trail for a well-deserved lunch break before heading back to the lodge to relax for the evening.

Kick off your morning with a hearty breakfast in our cozy lodge dining room—fuel up, because we’re in for a fun day! We’ll grab our gear, pack some tasty lunches, and hit the trail to the stunning Indian-Hudson River confluence. Get ready for a paddle across the sparkling Thirteenth Lake—yep, we’re hopping in canoes for a bit! Then, we’ll lace up our boots and tackle the climb to Peaked Mountain. At 2,919 feet, the summit’s got epic rocky outcrops and cliffs with jaw-dropping views. Look north, and you’ll spot those awesome Adirondack peaks we’ve already conquered.
We’ll take breaks to munch on our packed lunches at some seriously scenic spots—think picnic vibes with nature’s best backdrop. As the sun sets, we’ll wrap up the day’s adventures and head back to the hotel for some well-earned chill time. Get pumped for another unforgettable day in the Adirondacks!

After a delicious breakfast, we’ll hop into a comfy shuttle van and cruise to the historic Great Camp Santanoni in Newcomb—one of the coolest Adirondack great camps, built back in 1892-93. Named after the nearby Santanoni Peak, this place is a gem, designed by rockstar architect Robert H. Robertson with a sweet Japanese-inspired vibe for the Pruyn family.
We’ll kick things off at the Gatehouse Complex, where we’ll meet some super-knowledgeable local experts ready to spill all the fun facts. From there, get ready for a chill five-mile hike along a wide, scenic dirt-and-gravel carriage road through gorgeous woods to the main Camp Santanoni complex. Oh, and guess what? A horse-drawn carriage will be tagging along, adding some old-school charm to our trek!
Once we reach the main camp, we’ll explore its awesome nooks and crannies, soaking in the history. If the weather’s on our side, you can even take a refreshing dip in Newcomb Lake—how cool is that? The round-trip hike clocks in at about 10 miles, but don’t worry, we’ll stop to dig into the yummy packed lunches we prepped at the camp.
As the day winds down, we’ll head back to the hotel for some well-deserved relaxation. Get stoked for a day packed with history, nature, and good vibes in the Adirondacks!

Morning: Get ready for a blast from the past! We’ll head to the awesome Adirondack Depot Museum in North Creek, housed in a beautifully restored 1872 Adirondack/D&H Railroad Depot near Second Pond. Here, we’ll dive into the super cool history of how railroads shaped the Adirondack region. It’s like stepping back in time with all the neat exhibits and stories!
Lunch: Time to refuel! We’ll take a break at some gorgeous spots along the trail to dig into the tasty packed lunches we whipped up earlier. Picture yourself munching with a view—pure Adirondack magic!
Afternoon: Let’s keep the adventure rolling! We’ll hit the trails for more hiking fun, soaking up the stunning scenery before heading back to the lodge to chill.
Evening: Cap off the day with a bang at the Log House Restaurant for our big farewell dinner! Get ready to swap your favorite trip stories, laugh, and soak up the good vibes with your new adventure buddies. It’s the perfect way to wrap up our Adirondack journey!

We’ll kick off our final morning with a delicious breakfast at the cozy cabin restaurant—perfect fuel for our last day. After that, let’s pack up our bags (don’t forget those souvenirs!) and hop on the ride back to New York. It’s time to say goodbye to this amazing Adirondack journey, but don’t worry—you’re leaving with a heart full of awesome memories and stories to tell! What a fantastic trip it’s been!
