Itinerary
Get ready for an amazing day! Your adventure officially begins at 10:00 AM with a warm welcome from your expert guide right at your hotel.
We’ll enjoy a scenic five-hour journey before arriving at the one-of-a-kind Bishop Camp, your home for the next part of the trip. Settle in and make yourself comfortable!
Throughout the tour, your guide will be your go-to source for all things horseback riding. They’re brimming with helpful tips and stories and are ready to answer any questions you might have, so don’t be shy!
This evening is all yours! Take some time to unwind, explore your new surroundings, and get a good night’s sleep before we saddle up for a big day tomorrow.

Good morning, adventurer! We’ll start our day by meeting our professional horse handler right here at camp. Our guide will introduce you to your trusty steed and help you get saddled up. Then, we’ll ride out into the vast meadows to begin our journey. Get ready for a truly unforgettable experience as we weave among the majestic wild horse herds!
At noon, we’ll take a break and enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in a charming dwarf pine forest, with stunning views overlooking the valley.
The afternoon brings more riding fun as we continue our journey through rolling sagebrush and lush dwarf pine forest, eventually arriving at our cozy tented campsite for the evening.
You’ll have some free time to relax or explore. Feel free to take a short hike to the historic stone house or head to the corrals to spend more time with the horses. It’s a great opportunity to bond with them even more.
Morning: Saddle up for an epic adventure with our awesome wranglers as we ride into the breathtaking high country of McBride Flats and Red Pass! We’ll move quietly through the stunning landscape, keeping our eyes peeled for a band of wild horses sipping at Upper Pizona Spring. After about an hour of riding, we’ll climb up to McNamara Lake, crossing the state line into Nevada to scout for fresh tracks—what a thrill!
Lunch: Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch right on the trail, soaking in the gorgeous surroundings and swapping stories under the open sky.
Afternoon: After refueling, our fun-loving guides will map out the rest of your afternoon adventure. If McBride’s grasslands are buzzing with horses, we’ll head back to camp with hearts full of unforgettable sights. If the horses are playing hard to find, we’ll venture from McBride Pass to take in the jaw-dropping views of the flats stretching toward the majestic twin peaks. Get ready for an afternoon packed with wonder!
Morning: Time to saddle up! We’ll head back up the canyon to Upper Pizona Springs, following the historic mustang trail through “Horse Trap Canyon.” As the canyon walls get closer, we’ll ride past the old wire fence that mustangers used decades ago—a little piece of history right on our path! We’ll then journey up to the high ridges on the north side of McBride Flats for the best vantage point to spot any wild mustang bands.
Lunch: We’ll enjoy a classic picnic lunch right on the trail, surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors.
Afternoon: Our adventure continues as we keep our eyes peeled for more groups of magnificent horses. Every turn could reveal a new sight!
Evening: Get ready for a delicious treat! There’s nothing like a hearty dinner cooked over an open fire after a great day of riding. You can sit back, relax, and swap stories around a warm bonfire party under the stars.
After breakfast, we’ll gather our bags and load up for our final journey back to Las Vegas. As the miles roll by, take a moment to relive the laughter, new friendships, and unforgettable moments from our adventure together.
Though this trip is coming to a close, the stories (and maybe a few dusty boots) will stay with you long after you get home. We can’t wait to welcome you back for more incredible journeys in the future.
