About the tour
Hitch Interactive is the exclusive founding partner of the UC Berkeley Robotics Competition (“ROAR”). Through ROAR Academy, students will immerse themselves in the Berkeley AISTEAM learning experience, mastering and learning the theory and application involved in the ROAR competition. For those who aspire to win the highest prize in the competition, they can continue their learning through our VVIP program.
Key Learning Objectives
ROAR Academy is the official two-week AI summer/winter/custom camp program held by the University of California, Berkeley, for high school students with academic or vocational abilities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEAM) subjects. Through this program, middle and high school students entering grades 9 to 12 this fall will work with teachers, researchers, and scientists at UC Berkeley while learning to improve the theory and application of Python programming and basic autonomous driving algorithms.
Through a 10-day learning period, students will be able to master sufficient artificial intelligence knowledge to participate in the ROAR S2 competition for K-12 students. (The current S1 group includes college students and professionals)
